Intro is built on the principle that people share more when they control what happens to it. That applies to this website too.
Who we are
Intro Community INC, 710 Seward St, Los Angeles, California 90038 US, is the data controller for information submitted through this site. You can reach us at oyvind@intro.community.
What this website collects
The only personal data we receive is what you choose to enter into the contact form:
- Your name and email address, which we need in order to reply
- Your company and role, if you provide them
- Whatever you write in the message field
- Which of the two requests you selected
Why we process it, and on what basis
We use it solely to respond to your request — to send the investor brief, or to arrange an introduction to Intro. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box, together with our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months so that we can pick up a conversation where it left off, then delete them. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so.
Who else sees it
Your submission is handled by our website and email providers, who process it on our behalf under contract. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.
Where it is processed
Intro.community Inc. is incorporated in the United States, so data submitted here may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies and analytics
This website currently uses no cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, externally hosted fonts, or embedded maps.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or the UK you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to oyvind@intro.community and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your national data protection authority — in Norway, Datatilsynet.
The Intro product
This notice covers the website. The Intro platform itself is governed by a separate privacy policy and terms, which members receive when they join.
If your enquiry leads to you joining Intro, the details you gave here may be used to set up your account, at which point the platform's own privacy policy applies.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date above.
